EXREGZIO service for apparael e-commerce sites in Full-fledged launch at Nutty Collection—top mail order site Among 109-series apparel providers

E-commerce division advances with handling of 100 brands for same-day shipping, next-day delivery

December 8, 2008 (Tokyo, Japan)—Subsidiary AMS, Inc. (CEO and President: Tsukasa Kuroiwa), headquartered in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, and wholly owned by Acrodea, Inc. (CEO and President: Junya Tsutsumi), headquartered in Meguro-ku, Tokyo, launched the EXREGZIO service developed by AMS for apparel e-commerce sites on December 6, 12:00 AM, following the service’s adoption as the backend system to the top 109-series apparel provider’s mail order site “Nutty collection†operated by Nutty, Inc.

As a so-called fulfillment services system, EXREGZIO provides an enterprise system that can handle settlement of payments at an e-commerce site, order acceptance and issuance, and product delivery, and also covers warehousing operations for storage and management of product inventories. Adoption of the system can provide the following service improvements.

1. More Rapid Fulfillment
Many customers of Nutty collection are women in their late teens and early 20’s, and orders via the mobile Web comprise a 90% share of such transactions. Consequently, peak shopping hours tend to run from 12:00 to 2:00 AM. In order to deliver products as early as possible, fulfillment is moved up, so that orders up until 2:00 AM are shipped on the same day and delivered on the next day within the Kanto region.

2. Eliminating Complexity of E-Commerce
Many detailed operations accompany e-commerce businesses, such as sales strategies, product procurement, inventory control, product photography, copy writing, size measuring, etc. Because EXREGZIO handles most operational duties, Nutty can actually focus on devising and executing sales strategies, and on procuring products. Consequently, attractive website creation can proceed to increase customer satisfaction.

AMS intends to actively promote and increase sales of EXREGZIO, as a new pillar of business for the company, to major apparel manufacturers.
