Acrodea and InnoPath collaborate to deliver UI customization technology to KDDI
Authoring tool supplied as primary technology for "EZ Keitai Arrange" service on au mobile telephones

Dec. 4, 2006 (Tokyo, Japan) — Acrodea's user interface customization solution developed in collaboration with InnoPath Software, Inc., has been selected to perform a number of functions in the "EZ keitai-arrange" service provided by KDDI Corporation and Okinawa Cellular Telephone Company.

The user interface customization solution for mobile telephones developed by Acrodea and InnoPath is based on Acrodea's expertise in UI solutions, and InnoPath’s experience and track-record with mobile device management solutions. The solution provided by the two companies delivers more freedom to the user in interface customization, a process that has been quite restrictive and highly time-consuming up until now. The downloadable update function delivers a full UI package that enhances the convenience of customization. With the introduction of this solution mobile phones are now more user-friendly and expected to be a more appealing product to users.

Besides providing the underlying technology, Acrodea's role includes the provision of authoring tools to content developers to ease the creation of user interface packages.
